Duration Card

Setup

Import the visual via the menu into the existing report, the name of the visual is psDurationCard.pbiviz.

Afterwards, add exacly one duration field from the Eventlog or Cases table to the visual.

Important

The duration in the dimension provided needs to be in seconds. If you want to use the duration field from the Eventlog table you need to convert from miliseconds to seconds using a measure.

Functionalities

The Duration Card by process.science lets you display lead times of your cases or between specific activities.

Settings

In the following chapters the possible settings are explained.

Text Settings

In the submenu Text Setting you can adjust the settings regarding the placement of the labels.

SettingDescription
Text alignmentDefine the alignment of both labels. Possible values are left, center or right.
Alignment spacingDefine the horizontal space to the edge of the visual. Positive values move the labels to the right, negativ values to the left.

Data Label

In the submenu Data Label you can adjust the settings regarding the main label which display the calculated duration.

SettingDescription
ColorThe text color of the data label.
Text sizeThe text size of the data label.
Font familyThe font family of the data label.
BoldDefine wether the data label should be bold or not.
ItalicDefine wether the data label should be italic or not.
Word wrapDefine wether the data label should be wrapped into a new line if the text is too long or if it should be cut of.

Category Label

In the submenu Category Label you can adjust the settings regarding the label which display the name of the dimension.

ColorThe text color of the category label.
Text sizeThe text size of the category label.
Font familyThe font family of the category label.
BoldDefine wether the category label should be bold or not.
ItalicDefine wether the category label should be italic or not.

Formatting for duration

In the submenu Formatting for duration you can adjust how the durations within the KPI should be displayed.

SettingDescription
Base UnitSpecify the base units of the duration.
Show following unitsChange the base untis (years, month, weeks, ...) that should be shown.
Count of following unitsThe count of the following units after the base unit.
Show long textsSwitch if the long or short texts should be shown (Days or d).
Round valuesSwitch if the value should be round to the smallest unit displayed.
Maximum decimal pointsNumber that defines a maximal decimal points for float values.
